Job Overview

We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an experienced musculoskeletal (MSK) clinician to join our integrated MSK team at Porters Avenue Health Centre.

This part-time, permanent Band 7 role is based in Dagenham.

Main duties of the job

As part of our integrated MSK team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care alongside extended scope practitioners, exercise therapists, and administrators.

This position offers opportunities to contribute to service development while supporting the team’s overall goals.

  • Provide advanced clinical care and management for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Supervise and support the development of junior clinicians and other team members.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and innovation of MSK services within the organisation.
  • Support service to achieve KPI's.

  • Proven experience as an MSK clinician, with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a clinical educator, supporting the development of peers and students.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems to document care and support service operations effectively.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Relevant post graduate training.

Nelft place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes, Essex.

Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period.

Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

High Cost Area Supplement Outer London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 p. a. pro rata for part time).
