The role focuses on researching, developing, and characterising InGaAs/InP SPADs with high sensitivity in the telecoms C-band around 1550 nm, blending fundamental study of light–matter interactions with high‑speed electronics.

You will design, benchmark, and optimize SPAD sensors, assemble experimental platforms, and develop control software in Python or LabVIEW, collaborating with academic institutions.
