Job Description

At Tosca, we’re not just leaders in reusables—we’ve been pioneering sustainable solutions for over 60 years. We empower our partners with tailored innovations that drive efficiency and sustainability while reducing environmental impact. If you’re passionate about sustainability and operational excellence, we invite you to join our team.

At Tosca, the accurate management of returnable assets is essential to delivering efficiency, sustainability and value across the supply chain. We are looking for an Asset Control Specialist to take ownership of stock audits and reconciliations for our UK & Ireland customers, ensuring data integrity, timely closures and clear, customer-facing communication. You will combine precise data management with investigative work to identify discrepancies early, drive corrective actions and protect Tosca’s asset value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule physical stock counts with field teams; ensure all audits are executed on time and fully reconciled within three months.
  • Analyse customer declarations (CDI/EDI), spot anomalies, contact customers to clarify issues and agree corrective actions; unblock pending transactions to prevent delays.
  • Prepare the monthly Asset KPI slide for the MBR, report deviations and trends, and monitor forward cover data to maintain accuracy.
  • Hold weekly review meetings with Sales, coordinate group counts and escalate roadblocks to management where required; align progress with Customer Service and Sales.
  • Coordinate with Finance to issue loss/gain invoices; attend customer audit meetings and, when needed, participate in on-site counts.
  • Ensure strict adherence to European Asset Management processes and timelines.

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years’ experience in asset control, inventory management or a similar operational role within supply chain/logistics.
  • Advanced Excel (pivots, formulas, data analysis) and confidence working with asset declaration/tracking tools (CDI/EDI); exposure to BI/reporting (e.g., Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines; clear, professional communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Location: Dudley, UK — on-site role with up to 20% travel to other EMEA locations
  • Able to commute to the Dudley office as required. Office based role.

What we offer

At Tosca, we believe our people make the difference. We offer a competitive salary package together with a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and development, including:

  • Participation in the company bonus plan
  • 25 days of annual leave plus 8 public bank holidays (33 days in total)
  • Private medical insurance (comprehensive cover for you, with the option to add dependents at a competitive rate, available after probation)
  • Life insurance (coverage equivalent to one time your base salary, effective from day one)
  • Workplace pension scheme (employer contribution 3%, employee contribution 5%, after probation)
  • A collaborative, international and supportive work environment

Location: Dudley, UK – this is a full-time, on-site role with occasional travel (up to 20%).
