We are seeking a seasoned Retail IT Manager to lead and evolve our retail technology landscape across the UK and EU regions. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with deep experience in retail IT operations and project delivery, particularly in managing and deploying modern POS systems. The successful candidate will be based in our London office, working closely with store operations, infrastructure teams, and global IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and support of retail IT initiatives, including POS upgrades, store openings, and infrastructure refreshes.
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of retail technology deployments, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Retail Operations, Helpdesk, and Security to align IT solutions with business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for hardware, software, and network services.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of retail applications, including CRM, mPOS, and store network infrastructure.
  • Monitor and report on system health, incident trends, and support metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning for retail technology evolution and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years in a retail‑focused environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and deploying modern POS systems and retail applications.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, store infrastructure, and customer‑facing technologies.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across UK and EU regions as needed.
