  • Prepare and supervise the preparation of food and beverages served through Café Recharge and catered events.
  • Support FireFit's youth programme by ensuring food provision is available for young people and delivering cooking and food-based activities alongside the Youth Team.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safeguarding, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation, maintaining the highest standards across all catering operations.
  • Monitor performance, maintain accurate records and support the ongoing sustainability and success of Café Recharge as part of the wider FireFit Hub offer.

What we're looking for:

  • A Level 3 Professional Catering, Hospitality or recognised Catering qualification and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Experience managing within a catering environment, with a strong understanding of food safety and industry regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, catering legislation and Environmental Health requirements, with experience maintaining compliance and audit readiness.
  • Experience managing budgets, stock control and delivering value for money.
  • Experience designing menus that meet a range of customer and dietary needs.
  • Experience building positive supplier relationships and maintaining high service standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • A customer-focused approach, with the ability to motivate teams and create an inclusive working environment.
  • Strong organisational, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance commercial awareness with social purpose.
