What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing performance measures, reports and systems to ensure they continue to support corporate and operational priorities.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in business intelligence, AI, Microsoft Fabric and emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Managing multiple reports, projects and priorities, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered to agreed deadlines.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in an Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence or reporting-focused role, with a strong track record of delivering management information and analytics solutions.
  • Advanced SQL skills, with experience querying, transforming and analysing large, complex datasets.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data warehousing and business intelligence principles.
  • Experience interpreting complex information and translating business requirements into effective reporting and performance measures.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and provide meaningful insight that supports decision‑making and service improvement.
  • Experience maintaining data quality, integrity and governance, ensuring information is accurate, robust and reliable.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reports, projects and priorities to deadline.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to present findings and influence decision‑making.
  • A proactive and inquisitive approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and keeping up to date with emerging technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and AI.
  • Degree‑level qualification, relevant training, or equivalent experience in a similar role, supported by a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Interview Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a competency‑based interview at our Liverpool City Centre office, which will take place on either Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th or Thursday 12th November 2026.
