We are recruiting a Team Member to join us at Tortilla Lakeside Shopping Centre on a permanent basis, with part‑time and full‑time opportunities available. Pay is up to £12.71 per hour, paid bi‑weekly. Only candidates over 18 will be considered. This role involves handling sharp knives in a commercial kitchen environment, cooking hot food and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sharp knives and kitchen equipment safely.
- Prepare dishes and toppings using high‑quality, freshest ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen area.
- Assist in cross‑training for customer service positions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pot washer, kitchen porter, kitchen assistant, prep chef, commis chef or line chef is preferred.
- Keen to learn, friendly and outgoing with an upbeat personality.
