Torres Pumps have been established as innovators in the pumping industry since 1981. The company has a broad product range as well as specialist skills in pumping, hydraulics, pneumatic and electronic control, working with clients on an international basis on bespoke projects. With innovative minds, the company has gone from strength to strength from its humble beginnings in 1981. The company is proud that through its 43-year journey so far, not a single member of the team has faced redundancy.
As the team is expanding, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the team. The suitable candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Install and assemble a range of pump systems according to engineering drawings.
- Perform regular maintenance on pumps.
- Diagnose faults and take corrective action as needed.
- Conduct pressure and flow tests.
- Ensure all activities are carried out within the company requirements of safety, environment and quality.
- Perform other duties as requested by your manager.
Please note the position has a starting salary of £30k, which shall be reviewed intermittently with increases applied depending on experience and attitude to work. Overtime is available.
