Hours: 6:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday

About the Company

Our client is a manufacturing company that operates from multiple state-of-the-art facilities, providing high-speed, bespoke, and automated solutions.

The Role

As a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing processes meet customer-defined limits and comply with food safety and quality parameters. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards and driving improvements in quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular checks on production lines to ensure compliance with instructions and paperwork.
  • Collecting samples for micro clearance testing.
  • Driving improvements and promoting a ‘Right First Time’ ethos.
  • Handling internal non-conformances and customer complaints, investigating root causes, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Liaising with managers and staff across departments to maintain quality standards.
  • Conducting GMP and glass audits.
  • Collaborating with the hygiene team to ensure equipment cleanliness meets required standards.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have experience in the food industry.
  • Possess some Quality Control experience or similar.
  • Have a working knowledge of BRC Food Safety (desirable but not essential).
  • Hold HACCP and Food Hygiene Level 2 training (bonus).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated with a flexible approach to a variety of tasks.
