Key Responsibilities (CNC Turner & CNC Miller)
βοΈ Set up and operate CNC lathes or CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls .
βοΈ Read and interpret engineering drawings, selecting the correct tooling, fixtures, and attachments .
βοΈ Modify machine speeds, tooling, and cutting methods to maintain high precision.
βοΈ Troubleshoot programming and mechanical issues to ensure a seamless production process.
βοΈ Perform quality checks on finished components to meet high standards.
Requirements
β Recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.
β 3+ yearsβ experience working with CNC lathes or CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls .
β Strong knowledge of machining materials (e.g., mild steel, D2 tool steel, reheatable metals).
β Hands-on experience with key tooling, fixtures, and attachments (e.g., 2-axis, 3-draw chucks).
β Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
