Role Overview:

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls to produce precision components to exact specifications. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency, working closely with the production team to meet tight deadlines and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes using FANUC controls.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure component accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine settings as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner with proficiency in FANUC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of machining techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience in a precision engineering environment.
• Knowledge of other CNC control systems is a plus
