As a Reservations Team Leader, you will be a key part of our Private Reservations team within our Sales & Marketing department, providing an excellent level of customer service at all times. The role requires leading by example and supporting the rest of the team as needed with administration, e-mail queries, online bookings and in-bound telephone reservations. This is a back of house office-based role rather than a front desk customer facing role.
The successful candidate must have previous Hotel or Guest Services experience, and at least some weekend availability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deal efficiently and politely with all telephone, email and internet enquiries
- Ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures and that they are input accurately & promptly onto the system
- Maximize revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and promoting premium bookings & re-books
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency of the team, including current systems and procedures
- Support with the delivery of ongoing training for other team members within the department

Hours and Rate of Pay:
There is the potential for both a part-time role of 24 hours over 3 days or a full-time role of 40 hours over 5 days. Both roles will require at least one day of weekend availability.
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour.
