The predicted salary is between 54000 - 84000 Β£ per year.

Objective: Seeking an experienced Sesame Seeds Trader with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in buying and selling sesame seeds on an FOB/CNF basis from Africa (both West and East essential) and Brazil (preferred) into China and Turkey. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of supplier relationships at Origin and customer and broker networks at Destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading & Business Development: Manage the buying and selling of sesame seeds into China and Turkey.
  • Supplier & Customer Management: Maintain and expand strong relationships with suppliers in Africa and Brazil and buyers in China and Turkey.
  • Market Intelligence: Understand and regularly update the global and China Supply & Demand (S&D) position in sesame seeds for senior management.
  • Sales Order Book: Bring an opening sales order book upon joining.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with trade execution and finance teams for smooth operations.

Previous Experience and Skill Sets: 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: MBA from relevant education background.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and risk management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a competitive trading environment.
  • Knowledge of trade execution, contracts, and financial instruments.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Preferred candidates should have established sales order records in the target region and the target commodity.
