This role offers high visibility and direct interaction with senior leadership, supporting key decision‑making in a fast‑moving international commodity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis

    • Develop and maintain management dashboards and reporting tools to provide real‑time visibility of financial and operational performance.
  • Trading Desk Analysis (Grains & Oilseeds)
    • Track key trading metrics including margin per tonne, position profitability, contract performance, freight and logistics costs.
    • Support mark‑to‑market reporting, monitor hedging activity, and ensure trading P&L is accurately reflected.
    • Assist traders and management with financial analysis related to pricing and risk exposure.
  • Operational Finance (Edible Nuts Packing Business)
    • Monitor operational KPIs including packing volumes, yield rates, wastage, cost per unit, and customer margin performance.
    • Partner with the operations team to understand cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
    • Support profitability analysis by product line and customer segment.
  • Planning & Forecasting
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts across both divisions.
    • Build and maintain robust financial models reflecting the operational and commercial dynamics of the business.
    • Conduct scenario analysis to support pricing strategies, new market opportunities, and capacity investment decisions.
  • Financial Governance
    • Liaise with the accounting team during month‑end and year‑end close processes.
    • Ensure compliance with Austrian accounting standards (UGB) and applicable IFRS reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5‑7 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering roles.
  • Experience in commodity trading, food processing, or agricultural supply chains strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.

  • Solid understanding of commodity trading P&L mechanics, including physical trading, pricing, hedging, and logistics costs.
  • Experience in manufacturing, packing, or processing environments is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent English required; German highly desirable for local stakeholder interaction.
  • Familiarity with Austrian accounting standards (UGB) or EU reporting frameworks is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance‑linked bonus.
