Torpedo is an independent B2B brand marketing agency. We create and build distinctive brands, go-to-market strategies, and growth engines that drive long-term, sustainable business growth. We specialise in working with technology companies to define, launch, and scale their brands — helping them go further, faster.

Overview

This role is all about bringing Torpedo’s brand, thinking and capabilities to life through content to elevate Torpedo’s profile and generate new business opportunities. As Marketing Content Creator, you’ll support the agency’s marketing activities in planning, creating and publishing high-quality content - including copy, design and video - across multiple channels. You’ll translate ideas, case studies and strategic thinking into engaging, accessible content that reflects the strength of our work and the personality of our brand. You’ll be hands‑on and detail‑focused, with a strong sense of what makes creative content resonate with B2B audiences. Working closely with internal teams across the agency, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Torpedo shows up consistently, creatively and credibly in the market. If you’re a creative, passionate self‑starter, who’s not afraid to get stuck in and take real creative ownership for content creation across multiple formats for multiple channels, this could be just the role for you.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Work closely with our internal specialists to plan, schedule and deliver the creation of Torpedo’s marketing communications and always‑on content.
  • Story‑mining to discover relevant opportunities for new content from across the agency, our clients and industry.
  • Conduct research, interviews and information collation to inform content and themes where necessary.
  • Develop and manage a content roadmap aligned to agency content and growth priorities.
  • Create high‑quality written, visual and video content to bring the content strategy to life, all the time cultivating and maintaining brand consistency through tone of voice, messaging and visual standards.

Content storytelling & brand building

  • Help to shape how Torpedo presents case studies and impact stories, thought leadership and insights, and capabilities and propositions.
  • Translate internal thinking, strategic ideas and client work into compelling, audience‑first Torpedo marketing content, balancing clarity, engagement and relevance with regular cadence of output.
  • Stay up to date with content trends, formats and best practice—particularly within B2B and technology sectors.
  • Update, manage and monitor the distribution of content across our owned social media channels to maximise reach, engagement, and brand consistency.
  • Adapt content formats, messaging and storytelling approaches for different audiences, channels and stages of the buyer journey.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the delivery and performance of content campaigns across paid social and digital channels.

Content performance & workflow optimisation

  • Tracking content engagement, reach and lead generation contribution.
  • Apply SEO/GEO and content discoverability best practice to inform the ongoing optimisation of content formats and approaches to drive better performance.
  • Look for ways to improve speed, consistency and creative quality through new tools and processes (e.g. AI‑assisted tools and workflows).

Marketing support

  • Support the broader marketing activities of the agency, including keeping the agency website and site content up to date, assisting with the creation and submission of award entries, maintaining the CRM database, managing ongoing email marketing and PR activities, helping to book and organise events, and representing the agency at events.

Desired skills

  • Solution‑driven, with a natural ability to quickly digest and understand complex information and transform and structure it into robust and engaging content.
  • A solid understanding of business marketing channels and social platform content best practice—particularly LinkedIn and how search optimisation can be applied to ensure high visibility of content created.
  • Excellent copywriting and creative communication skills with the ability to turn content plans into high‑quality, digital‑first content.
  • A broad range of creative skillsets and experience creating content across multiple formats (copy, visual, video).
  • Handle camera setup, filming, basic lighting and audio to ensure professional‑quality footage is created.
  • Ability to edit and produce short‑form cuts (Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn clips) from longer videos.
  • Highly organised, with a track record of managing and delivering multiple projects to tight deadlines – with a consistent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple agency specialist teams.
  • A positive, proactive mindset – calm under pressure and committed to high standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Lightroom, Premier and Illustrator), Adobe Express and/or Canva.
  • A working knowledge of the technology sector and/or B2B marketing is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, analytics tools, and AI technology would be an advantage for the role.

Ideally, your existing skillset neatly aligns with the responsibilities listed, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, we’d still encourage you to apply. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who has the right attitude, a growth mindset, and is a good fit for our agency.
