Overview
This is an in-house marketing role designed to elevate Torpedo's profile, generate demand for the agency, and support the delivery of our marketing and business strategy.
As Marketing & Content Manager, you'll lead the planning, creation and delivery of marketing campaigns that showcase Torpedo’s expertise, promote our services, and position Torpedo as a valued strategic partner.
You’ll turn insight, client work and our strategic thinking into compelling, high-quality content across copy, design and mobile-generated video, bringing our capabilities, knowledge and brand personality to life.
Working with our internal specialists, you’ll adapt and distribute this content through the most relevant channels to maximise reach, engagement and impact.

Responsibilities and duties
- Brand positioning and agency visibility
- Support the delivery of Torpedo’s marketing strategy, helping deliver agency growth priorities.
- Develop and implement campaigns that build brand awareness, strengthen market positioning and generate qualified business opportunities.
- Work with our internal team to plan and deliver Torpedo’s marketing comms.
- Help maintain consistency across tone of voice, messaging and visual identity.
- Contribute ideas to improve lead generation, brand visibility and client acquisition.
- Content planning, storytelling and creation
- Identify content opportunities across the agency, clients and wider industry, using research, interviews and collaboration.
- Develop and manage a content roadmap aligned to Torpedo’s marketing priorities.
- Create high-quality written, visual and video content including thought-leadership, insights, case studies, client success stories, social content, award entries and blogs.
- Adapt content and storytelling for different audiences, channels and stages.
- Support award submissions, PR activity, partnerships and speaking opportunities.
- Apply SEO, GEO and discoverability best practice to improve reach and performance.
- Maintain a regular publishing cadence ensuring content reflects Torpedo’s tone, standards and positioning.
- Digital marketing
- Set-up and support campaign delivery across social, email and other digital channels.
- Keep the website up to date with case studies, news, landing pages and other content.
- Monitor and optimise campaign and content performance.
- Stay informed about digital content trends, formats and best practice.
- Events and sponsorship
- Help organise and support relevant sponsorships, events, webinars and exhibitions aligned with Torpedo’s marketing goals.
- Coordinate event logistics, suppliers, materials, content and internal involvement.
- Support stand design, promotional materials and event communications.
- Represent Torpedo at events and networking opportunities.
- Marketing operations
- Maintain marketing plans, campaign schedules, lead lists and CRM systems.
- Track marketing performance, prepare reports and suggest improvements.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers where required.
- What we’re looking for
- Around two to four years’ marketing experience, ideally within the B2B technology sector.
- Good understanding of B2B marketing, social media (Linked In), content marketing and search optimisation (SEO/GEO).
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling and creative skills.
- Hands-on experience creating digital-first content across copy, visual assets and basic video.
- Highly organised, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with good presentation and collaboration skills.
- Positive, proactive, and with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and/or Canva.
- Experience using AI tools, CMS, CRM and analytics platforms would be an advantage.
