We are looking for an experienced Marketing Account/Project Manager to join our Client Services team!

This role is responsible for day-to-day client relationships and the planning and management of projects so that they are delivered on time and on budget, whilst supporting the Account Director in ensuring client satisfaction, retention and growth.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Work closely with clients to develop an in-depth understanding of their industry, business, structure, products, competitors, challenges, opportunities, marketing objectives, culture, agency expectations, and continuously seek additional knowledge to gain a deeper insight.
  • Add value to client conversations and plans by suggesting improvements or alternative solutions where possible.
  • Recommend, plan and deliver dynamic integrated marketing programs across both online and off-line channels.
  • Fully define and question the client brief so that there is absolute clarity about the deliverables, deadlines and financial considerations, whilst identifying opportunities to extend the brief.
  • Liaise with specialists and external suppliers to scope out and estimate costs for all projects.
  • Provide timely and relevant updates to keep internal and external stakeholders appropriately informed of status, risks and changes.
  • Manage all stages of the project process including briefing and liaising with in-house specialists and external suppliers and challenging their approach to ensure we deliver the very best on time and on budget.
  • Proactively monitor time spent against estimates and suggest ways to deliver projects more efficiently and within allocated budgets.
  • Manage project and client finances and keep Account Director fully informed.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day client relationships and support the Account Director in ensuring client satisfaction, retention and growth.
  • Manage your own workload efficiently and demonstrate awareness of workload and priorities of other teams, proactively suggesting solutions to competing demands so that you are able to deliver work against tight deadlines whilst providing clients with exceptional service at all times.
  • Proactively take control of your own continued learning by taking advantage of the training and development opportunities within the business, whilst keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Support the delivery of projects for other Client Service teams when extra resource is required.
  • Proactively support the growth of Torpedo and the company’s marketing efforts by contributing towards the development of case studies, awards entries and other business development or marketing content.
  • Proactively identify potential ways to improve processes and procedures across the business, making a sound business case for any changes suggested, and champion new ways of working.
