Project Manager (ICP/Electricity) Role Overview As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering LV to 33kV ICP projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in new connections and IDNO networks, particularly those with experience working for ICPs or DNOs. You will manage onsite electrical teams, support pre-construction efforts, and ensure strong client relationships through exceptional project delivery. This role requires frequent travel, so a full UK driving license is essential. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Delivery & Compliance β Manage ICP projects from LV to 33kV, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. 2. Workforce & Site Supervision β Oversee electrical staff and subcontractors, providing training, instruction, and on-site support to maintain high-quality standards. 3. Stakeholder & Client Management β Build strong relationships with clients, conduct pre-contract site surveys, and support business development efforts. 4. Operational & Quality Oversight β Maintain accurate project records, conduct audits, and assist in planning, pre-construction, and resource forecasting. Key Skills & Qualifications 1. ICP/DNO Experience β Minimum 5 years of site experience working for an ICP or DNO, preferably in new connections or IDNO networks, up to 33kV. 2. Certifications & Authorizations β NRSWA Supervisor Ticket, Distribution Network Authorisation (UKPN, WPD, SSE), and SMSTS (preferred). 3. Technical & Project Management Skills β Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, control and protection equipment, project planning, and resourcing. 4. Interpersonal & Communication Skills β Ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
