The Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing electrical systems, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Loop Diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Producing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and conducting site surveys to assess project requirements.
- Performing cable calculations, load assessments, and ensuring designs comply with BS7671 and IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Collaborating with clients, project managers, and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Supporting commissioning and testing, ensuring compliance with NICEIC standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Amtech, AutoCAD/Revit, and other design software
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and compliance standards
- A problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
