Torma Capital is a London-based investment firm managing a public portfolio of high-quality, predictable companies around the world. Our investment process is research-intensive, analytical and focused on understanding durable competitive moats and long-term intrinsic value.
We are looking for an AI / software engineering intern to join us for three weeks from 7 May to 29 May, with the possibility of continuing part-time afterwards. The role will focus on helping us explore and build AI workflows. In particular, we are interested in experimenting with tools such as Palantir.
What you will work on:
- Score companies according to our framework and rules
- Build an internal knowledge base with scored companies and other materials
- Monitor scored companies
- Build simple front-end dashboards
Who should apply:
We are looking for someone who enjoys building things, especially students pursuing engineering or other technical degrees who are seeking work experience. The ideal candidate has a technical background, is curious, and has spent time building tools, automations, dashboards, apps, scrapers, agents, or other side projects whether for work, university, or just out of personal interest. While an interest in business and finance is helpful, what matters more is experience experimenting with AI and building tools.
We work four days at the office and one day from home during the week. Our office is in Mayfair, London. Please apply only if you are currently based in London.
