We are hiring, on behalf of one of our equity investments, an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Event Sales Manager to lead and grow events revenue for a well-known amusement park in London. This is a pivotal role with ownership of the sales strategy through to execution for all types of events including birthday parties, school trips, private hires, tourist groups and corporate bookings. As a key commercial manager, you will work closely with marketing and operations to generate demand, drive conversions, and deliver exceptional guest experiences that turn first-time bookings into loyal, repeat customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a high-impact sales strategy focused on maximising revenue from birthday parties, school trips, private hires, tourist groups and corporate bookings. Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Team to shape targeted campaigns that fill the top of the funnel with quality leads.
- Proactive Selling: Identify and engage new potential clients β from families and schools to corporate groups and event agencies β using outbound sales, networking, and partnerships.
- Diary Management: Own the events diary and ensure itβs strategically filled and optimised for high-revenue bookings, managing demand, pricing, and availability.
- Event Planning & Execution: Collaborate with party hosts and internal teams to ensure every event is flawlessly executed, delivering an outstanding guest experience that drives referrals and reviews.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in B2C and/or B2B event sales β ideally within entertainment, hospitality, leisure or retail environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and manage a sales pipeline.
- Experience developing and executing lead generation or conversion strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
