The Role
As the Pensions Operations Manager, you will:
- proactively contribute towards the delivery of the Pension Fund’s Business Plan and Administration Strategy
- be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pension fund, including the management and direction of four teams delivering the Pension Benefits, Payroll, Systems and Communications of the Fund
- ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuously improving our processes and systems.
- play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective administration of the pension fund, providing support and guidance to our members and scheme employers whilst contributing to the strategic direction of the fund.
Qualifications and Experience
You will be expected to have:
- Proven experience in pensions administration with a deep understanding of pension regulations and legislation.
- Strong management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as CIPP or equivalent.
