The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We are currently looking to speak to graduate or post graduate building surveyors with a project bias to work for a multi-disciplinary design & build consultancy based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. You will be joining at a period of growth and expansion and be immediately involved with working on new projects and Government contracts.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for the role, along with a willingness to travel as required. Candidates will need full right to work in the UK with no restrictions and have the ability to undergo and pass a UK MOD security clearance.
We are able to consider recent graduates or post graduates with working experience and as such there is a wide salary range for this position which will very much depend on the level of experience & knowledge.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Conduct site inspections and assess client needs.
- Assist in preparing detailed construction plans and specifications.
- Support the delivery of Government contacts/projects on time and within budget.
- Help identify and resolve building defects and maintenance issues.
- Ensure health & safety best practices are followed.
- Work with cutting-edge design tools, including CAD software.
- Support graduate and technician development.
- Degree in Building Surveying with practical experience, preferably project biased.
- Knowledge of construction standards & regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & CAD software.
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential and willingness to travel.
- RICS membership or working towards qualification.
- Knowledge of commercial and security-sensitive projects.
