What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception through to delivery
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across disciplines
- Complete full structural designs and calculations to the latest standards and regulations
- Engage with stakeholders, clients and contractors on site and during project meetings
- Prepare structural reports, specifications and tender submissions
- Oversee construction processes, safety compliance and QA
- Contribute to bid responses, feasibility studies and site surveys
- Ensure high standards of documentation and project tracking
- Play an active role in the use of BIM and 3D modelling software in project delivery
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering (BEng minimum)
- 5+ years’ experience in structural design, ideally across a range of sectors and project sizes
- Member of IStructE, with Incorporated or Chartered status (or actively working towards)
- Strong working knowledge of structural design codes, building regulations, and British Standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Civil 3D, MicroStation
- Proven ability to lead projects and direct more junior staff
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required
Nice to Have:
- MEng or relevant master’s degree
- Experience delivering projects in BIM environments
- Contract preparation and project management skills
- Existing UK Security Clearance (or willingness to undergo clearance)
