You’ll be trusted to manage projects end-to-end, deal with clients directly and keep everything moving in the right direction.

Salary is fairly broad here (£50k–£65k) and will depend on your experience — things like the size of projects you’ve managed, your technical knowledge and how independently you can operate will all be taken into account.

The Role

  • Manage fire door projects from start to finish across a range of sectors
  • Plan works, coordinate labour and manage programmes
  • Oversee installations, inspections and remedial works
  • Ensure all work is compliant with current fire safety regs and standards
  • Manage subcontractors and site teams
  • Keep control of budgets, variations and overall project costs
  • Carry out site visits and quality checks
  • Maintain clear project documentation and reporting
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure H&S is adhered to across all sites

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience managing fire door or passive fire protection projects
  • Good understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance
  • Comfortable running multiple projects at once
  • Able to read drawings/specs and translate into delivery
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and cost control experience
  • Full UK driving licence (some travel / occasional stay away)

Nice to Have

  • SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid
  • FIRAS, BM TRADA or similar knowledge / exposure
  • Fire safety qualifications

What’s On Offer

  • £50,000 - £65,000 (flexible depending on experience, project exposure and technical level)
  • Company vehicle
  • Genuine progression as the company continues to grow
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Supportive team without micromanagement

If you’ve got solid experience in fire doors/passive fire and want a role where you can just get on with it and run your own projects, this is worth a chat. Drop me a message or apply and I’ll run you through the details.
