We’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding multi-disciplinary design & build consultancy, working on a diverse range of projects—including Government and MOD developments. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure designs comply with British Standards, legislation, and building regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and project guidance to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop Graduate Engineers within the team.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and final sign-offs on completed works.
- Work closely with mechanical, structural, CAD, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare and modify engineering calculations, layouts, and project specifications.
- Contribute to PQQ/SQ and ITT tender submissions.
What We’re Looking For:
- HND/BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering (or recent graduate applicants welcome).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office 365, and NBS Chorus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain SC level clearance).
Bonus Skills:
- Chartered status (CEng) with IET or CIBSE.
- Experience with BREEAM, DREAM, Revit, MagiCAD, Amtech, and Dialux.
- Project management experience in building services.
