Civil Engineer – Exciting Opportunity in Monmouth!

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for a permanent role in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary consultancy? Do you want to work on high-profile Government and MOD projects while growing your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment?

We’re looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our expanding team in Monmouth, working alongside Chartered Surveyors, Architects, and Design Engineers. If you’re passionate about solving complex civil engineering challenges and want to mentor and lead within a growing division, this could be the perfect role for you!

Please note there is a wide salary range for this position and will depend on level of experience, skills & knowledge. While hybrid working is an option, there is a preference for office working so must be commutable to Monmouth with the ability to work in the office more than from home.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Work closely with CAD Technicians to produce technical information.
  2. Undertake engineering analysis and design, supporting project delivery.
  3. Attend project meetings, site visits, and condition surveys.
  4. Ensure projects stay on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  5. Produce detailed reports and compliance documentation.
  6. Act as a mentor to graduates and technicians, helping develop future talent.
  7. Engage in CPD to enhance your skills and expertise.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Degree (BEng or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
  2. Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, and site development.
  3. Sound knowledge of CDM regulations.
  4. Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE) is highly desirable.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain SC level clearance).
