Are you a Chartered Senior Civil Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on high-profile projects within a well-established multi-disciplinary design & build consultancy? Do you have experience working with reinforced concrete and delivering innovative engineering solutions? If so, we want to hear from you! We are open to candidates from any location as long as you can visit either our Portsmouth or Monmouth offices when required. We also welcome Chartered Civil Engineers seeking part-time opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop scheme designs using appropriate industry software.
- Assist in the delivery of projects within time, budget, and quality expectations.
- Undertake structural analysis and design, specialising in reinforced concrete.
- Work with CAD Technicians to produce relevant design information.
- Attend site visits, condition surveys, and project meetings.
- Communicate project-critical issues to Directors and clients.
- Mentor graduates and junior engineers, fostering professional development.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) – ICE
- Strong technical background in civil engineering design ideally with reinforced concrete experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Security Clearance (SC) will be required (not essential to start).
What’s on Offer?
- Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (DOE) + Benefits + Bonus.
