We are working with a growing fire protection contractor looking to bring in a Fire Door Project Manager to take ownership of projects across the South Coast and beyond.
The Role
- Manage fire door projects from start to finish across a range of sectors
- Plan works, coordinate labour and manage programmes
- Oversee installations, inspections and remedial works
- Ensure all work is compliant with current fire safety regulations and standards
- Manage subcontractors and site teams
- Keep control of budgets, variations and overall project costs
- Carry out site visits and quality checks
- Maintain clear project documentation and reporting
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Ensure health and safety is adhered to across all sites
What They're Looking For
- Experience managing fire door or passive fire protection projects
- Good understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance
- Comfortable running multiple projects at once
- Able to read drawings and specifications and translate into delivery
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and cost control experience
- Full UK driving licence (some travel/occasional stay away)
Nice to Have
- SMSTS, CSCS or First Aid certification
- FIRAS, BM TRADA or similar knowledge/exposure
- Fire safety qualifications
