Base Salary Range: £39,200 – £46,700 per annum*

Digital Consultant

A bit about Torchbox We’re the digital marketing specialists for many of the biggest charities in the UK; we build digital products for international NGOs, governments and universities; and we created Wagtail CMS, used by Google, NASA, the NHS and thousands more.

What you’ll be working on:

Leading the design, delivery, and performance of cross-channel campaigns — especially across paid media, email, and CRO

Providing digital consultancy that aligns marketing with client organisational objectives

Supporting clients to adopt innovation where it can have real impact — from campaign automation to AI-powered audience insights

Guiding strategic testing approaches that maximise ROI

Collaborating with Account Managers, Executives and Analysts to deliver seamless, joined-up client work

Building senior-level relationships and proactively identifying opportunities for new work

Feeding into our new business efforts, helping scope and pitch compelling ideas to new clients

We’re looking for Digital Marketing Consultants with the following skills:

A fully rounded digital marketing skill set across paid search, paid social, email and CRO

A background in the nonprofit sector or agency-side

Recent, hands-on experience running digital campaigns with deep platform knowledge (especially Google Ads, Meta Ads etc)

The ability to tie campaigns to KPIs and organisational goals and clearly communicate their impact to clients

Project management skills: from shaping multi-channel campaigns to handling budgets and shifting deadlines

Experience building trust with senior client stakeholders, acting as a critical friend and expert advisor

Strong team collaboration and leadership skills

A curiosity and interest in digital innovation, especially where it can improve nonprofit impact

Experience with tools like ChatGPT, GA4 predictive audiences, campaign automation, or AI-powered email tools

Knowledge of SEO and wider digital strategies

The money bit

£39,200 – £46,700 per annum + a tax-free co-owner bonus & profit share At Torchbox, you’re not just an employee— you’re a co-owner from day one . We’re 100% employee-owned, which means you get a say in how we run things, and you directly share in our success.

Tax-Free Co-Owner Bonus : A guaranteed £3,600 per year , paid quarterly (£900 every 3 months)

Profit Share Scheme : Over the last 3 years we have paid out an average of 14.5% of salary per annum, which equals 2.5 extra months of pay per year.

The application process

The closing date for this role is Friday 27th February 2026.

The application process will consist of 2 stages, these will be:

30-minute first-stage interview, we will ask you more about your previous work experience and skills. You’ll also get a chance to learn more about Torchbox and the role.

A 90-minute final stage interview , will be a panel interview with 2-3 members of the team. We will delve more into your experience and ask you some competency-based questions. During this stage, we’d like you to complete a written task and a 5-minute presentation, we will send you details in advance.
