Thriving independent practice on the beautiful North Devon coast seeks an experienced equine vet to complement our team. We are a proudly independent, 8-vet equine practice with a fully equipped equine theatre and inpatient facilities. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships within our community and delivering excellent client care.

While the majority of our work is ambulatory, you will have full access to the clinic for more in-depth workups and the opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in Equine Practice, Medicine and Imaging. We also have access to visiting surgeons, experienced vets qualified in advanced dentistry, and long-established stud expertise. We actively encourage case continuity and support further study to ensure job satisfaction and clinical progression.

Our vets are supported by dedicated equine nurses and technicians who provide 24-hour assistance both in the clinic and on the road. Our outstanding support team keeps everything running smoothly and takes great care of our vets.

We are proud to be part of a wider practice with a large farm animal team, giving us the social opportunities and benefits of a multi-branch practice while still enjoying the close-knit feel of our equine team. You will be living in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with easy access to the beaches of North Devon and Cornwall and to Exmoor National Park. The lifestyle is exceptional and the community vibrant. The area is famous for its world-class surf, stunning landscapes, Exmoor hunts and its family-friendly community, with excellent local schools.

Our vets work a 4-day week but part and full-time working days will be considered. Salary dependent on experience and further qualifications. Surgical experience will be strongly favoured.
