Overview
Our team at Torbridge Vets are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team. In this new role you will be looking after our nurses at both the Bideford and South Molton site.
As the Head Nurse, you will work alongside the Head Vet and Practice Director in the day to day running of the practice.
You will support the nursing team, and drive clinical standards. Lead from the front and be involved in the management and training of our friendly and enthusiastic nurse team. A clinical coach for our student nurses.
You will support various clinical and non-clinical projects and initiatives, PSS compliance plus PSS awards and Health & Safety.
Torbridge Vet practices are based in beautiful North Devon in an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning coastline offering a wide range of leisure activities.

This is a full time role, 40 hours per week including 1:6 Saturdays no OOH and limited bank holidays.
- The salary for this role is up to £37,000 per annum (DOE)
- 8 weeks annual leave with our Buy/sell holiday scheme. Allowing you to purchase and additional 2 weeks annual leave.
- Receive an additional days leave each year in your first five years.
- Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and adoption pay.
