Due to continued growth, Torbay Pharma are recruiting for Trainee Production Technicians to join our site in Paignton on a full-time permanent basis. Previous experience within production (ideally from GMP manufacturing) would be a plus; however, full training will be provided.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is proactive with great attention to detail. You may start as a Trainee Production Technician; however, with a clearly defined career pathway and lots of opportunities internally, who knows where your career may go.
Hours β This role is offered on a rotational shift basis with hours between 6am β 10pm, Monday - Friday. Please note: As part of the production team, you will be working within a controlled/graded cleanroom environment whilst wearing specialist cleanroom gowning to minimise contamination.
What you can expect in a Trainee Production Technician role at TP:
- Working in a clean room environment including changing into full body PPE
- Specialist cleaning processes
- Working according to GMP standards
- Loading and unloading automated filling equipment
- In-process quality checks
- Understanding and working according to SOPs (written instructions)
- Full training on specialist machinery and how they operate
What are we looking for:
- Experience working within a GMP/clean room environment would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- High level of personal cleanliness
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role

- Proactive and flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
