Position
Torbay Pharmaceuticals is currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to join our team in Paignton on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in science who is looking to gain experience working within a lab.
About the Role
As a Lab Technician, you will be working within our Starting Materials team. Splitting your time between the lab and the Warehouse, you will be responsible for the processing, sampling, analysis, and approval of starting materials and components to ensure suitability prior to their use in the manufacture of our products.
What you can expect in a Lab Technician role at TP:
- Provide functional, analytical, and technical support to the Materials and Supplier Quality Section of the Quality Assurance department.
- Final approval of components and licensed materials.
- Dispensing, analyzing, and approval of materials and components to ensure the quality of our medicinal products.
- Ensure materials and components are sampled, analyzed, and processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is updated and holds accurate and current information relating to received goods.
