  • Identify, evaluate, structure and negotiate in‑licensing and out‑licensing agreements for pharmaceutical products and technologies across the UK and international markets.
  • Develop and secure contract manufacturing and technology transfer partnerships, maximising utilisation of TP’s manufacturing capabilities.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new sterile injectable products for in‑house development, ensuring long‑term, sustainable portfolio growth.
  • Structure and negotiate complex commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory, quality, financial and risk requirements.
  • Conduct detailed market assessments, competitiveness analysis and commercial evaluation to support investment decisions and Executive approvals.
  • Prepare high‑quality business cases and recommendations for Executive team review.
  • Represent TP at key global industry forums (CPhI, DCAT, EuroPLX, Pharma Synergy), building strong strategic relationships with partners, licensors and customers.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Regulatory, Technical, Quality, Finance and Operations teams to support due diligence and execution of deals.
  • Manage external market research providers and leverage high‑quality secondary data to inform strategic decisions.

What are we looking for:

  • A strong track record in pharmaceutical business development, ideally with experience of in‑licensing, out‑licensing and CMO/CDMO transactions.
  • Proven experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical product development, regulatory frameworks and intellectual property considerations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including financial modelling, valuation and investment assessment.
  • Expertise in market analysis, opportunity assessment and portfolio management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and presentation skills, with credibility at Executive and Board level.

What we need from you (must have skills):

  • Strategic deal negotiation and execution
  • Commercial analysis and financial evaluation
  • Networking and relationship management
  • Negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Cross functional due diligence
