The Torbay Local Heritage Grants Support Officer will coordinate the successful delivery of a second series of Torbay Local Heritage Grant Awards, themed 'Artists, Writers & Musicians on the English Riviera'. This part‑time (2.5 days per week) fixed‑term (30 months) role is part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund through the Torbay Heritage Place Programme.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the design, publicity and award of the grant scheme.
  • Manage the budget for the grant awards, preparing budget reports and monitoring expenditure.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records, minutes of meetings and progress reports.
  • Undergo procurement processes in accordance with Council procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders and internal teams.

Skills

  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Experience in administrative duties such as minute taking and report preparation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Office 365, Teams, Project) and social media platforms.
