We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Dawlish Community Hospital. We are looking for someone eager to provide high-quality care, act as a patient advocate, promote and participate in shared governance, and support our Pathway to Excellence initiative. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be well-organized, and able to delegate tasks to appropriately trained colleagues. You will need to work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients and relatives\’ views are included in discussions, acting as a patient advocate and liaising with patients, families, and the MDT. Additionally, you will be part of a rotational team supporting outpatient services at our Health and Wellbeing Centre, bringing services closer to the community. Responsibilities include: Providing a high standard of patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working within the ward to deliver a quality service based on patient needs. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Working independently without direct supervision.
