We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Filling Team Manager to join our team at our Birtley facility. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in our operations.

Role Overview

As Filling Team Manager, you will lead, motivate, and inspire your team to deliver operational excellence. Through clear communication and a strong alignment with our company values, you will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

You will drive performance by setting clear expectations, aligning team objectives with business KPI’s, and promoting a positive, inclusive working environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and develop the Filling Team to consistently achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.

-Communicate effectively to ensure team members are aligned with business goals.

-Promote and implement lean manufacturing practices, including 5S tiered meetings and factory floor fit events.

-Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability to support business growth.

-Maintain high levels of team morale, engagement, and collaboration.

-Monitor and manage performance to meet individual and team KPI’s.

-Experience in delivering and exceeding KPI’s.

-Knowledge of lead production methods and tools

-Strong people management and coaching capabilities

-Knowledge of OEE principles and ability to analyse and improve production efficiency
