Are you a technical Product Manager who thrives in the "blank slate" phase of a startup? Using proprietary AI technology born out of a decade of research at UCL, this platform provides a first-of-its-kind biomarker to measure cellular-level changes, supporting global pharmaceutical partners in the fight against blindness and cognitive decline.
As the sole Product Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for the flagship AI platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will bridge the gap between biological research, AI engineering, and commercial deployment.
- Own the Trajectory: Lead the product roadmap, balancing regulatory milestones (FDA/ISO) with the requirements of global biotech and pharma stakeholders.
- Facilitate daily synchronisation between R&D, Data Science, and Clinical verticals to translate complex science into executable work.
- Technical Authority: Act as the primary technical contact for external partners, engaging deeply in architecture and data science discussions.
- You are comfortable building processes from scratch rather than inheriting them.
- Scientific Context: Strong enough technical literacy to lead architecture discussions with engineers and data scientists without needing simplification.
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week office presence between Reading and London).
