Our client, a premier independent credit research firm, is looking for a Data Product Owner to join their team in Glasgow. This role will allow you to play a crucial role in shaping the data products that help the world’s leading banks and investors navigate complex markets.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Assist in developing and executing the product roadmap to align with business goals.
  • Agile Leadership: Run agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives) and manage the product backlog.
  • Hands-on Data: Write SQL queries to analyse data, validate use cases, and ensure exceptional user experiences.
  • Collaboration: Act as the bridge between internal/external customers and their technical teams to ensure feature completeness.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in product management or development.
  • Sector Knowledge: Ideally, a background in Financial Information Services or credit markets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and Agile tools like Jira.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
