We’re launching Toptal’s next frontier: a borderless finance platform built on stablecoin rails to reinvent how millions of people manage, move, invest, and borrow money. Stablecoins are rapidly evolving into core financial infrastructure, and with regulatory clarity accelerating worldwide, this is the moment to build something foundational.

As our founding Technical Product Manager, you’ll define the roadmap, ship the first critical products, and set the product culture that future PMs will follow. This is not just another PM role – it’s your chance to architect how a next-generation financial platform comes to life.

What you’ll do / Responsibilities

• Partner daily with engineering, design, and compliance in a lean, high-trust team.
• Drive product decisions end-to-end, moving from discovery to delivery in weeks, not quarters.
• Translate vision into requirements that engineers respect and users love.
• Manage external fintech partners (wallets, card issuers, processors), ensuring clean integrations and reliable flows.
• Shape product strategy while rolling up your sleeves on edge cases, data analysis, and QA.

What you’ll do (detailed)

• Own and prioritise the roadmap for Toptal’s fintech platform – payments, wallet, and card products.
• Write clear, technically detailed product specs that stand up in architecture reviews.
• Orchestrate integrations with stablecoin and fiat rails, embedding compliance by design (KYC, AML, fraud prevention).
• Measure success through adoption, transaction reliability, latency, and user satisfaction.
• Leverage AI-native product tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate research, specs, and testing.
• Iterate fast: ship in 2-week sprints, gather real data, and adapt quickly.

What we’re looking for / Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Product Manager in fintech (payments, cards, wallets, banking, or capital markets).
• Technical fluency – map flows, reason about APIs/microservices, and challenge tradeoffs with engineers.
• Proven experience delivering transaction-heavy fintech products at scale.
• Strong track record orchestrating integrations with external fintech partners.
• Comfort working in regulated environments, balancing compliance with usability.
• Data-driven mindset – you optimise for outcomes, not outputs.
