About Topsham Brewery
Topsham Brewery is a small, independent brewery and taproom on Exeter’s historic quayside, producing and serving fresh craft beer on site. We’re a friendly, hands-on team running a busy hospitality and events space alongside our brewing operations, with a relaxed but professional working environment. This role is a key part of keeping the business organised day to day and supporting our growth.
You will provide office administration, light bookkeeping and HR support to the Directors, helping to keep our operations running smoothly. Working approximately 20–32 hours per week during normal weekday office hours.
- Paying, coding and filing supplier invoices
- Monitoring expenses and preparing information for our accountants
- Maintaining accurate records using Xero accounting software
- Tracking employee hours, holiday accrual and staff records
- Maintaining organised digital filing systems
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an office administration role
- Basic bookkeeping skills and confidence working with invoices and expenses
- Experience working in hospitality or small businesses
- Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software
- Experience supporting HR admin and/or payroll processes
- Experience working with accountants and across online platforms (e.g. HMRC, pension portals, booking systems)
