What the role involves:

  • Assisting nursery staff in caring for and supervising children aged 0–5
  • Supporting daily routines such as feeding, changing, and toilet training
  • Engaging children through fun and educational activities
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and nursery teams
  • Working across multiple locations based on staffing needs

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience with young children in a nursery or early years setting is desirable but not essential
  • Genuine passion for supporting children’s development and well-being
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different locations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. If you don’t yet have one, you’ll need to cover the cost
  • Be eligible to work in regulated roles – not on the Children’s Barred List
  • Successfully complete background and reference checks
