About The Role Are you passionate about creating a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for children? We’re looking for a dedicated Nursery Housekeeper to support our team in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout our nursery setting.
About The Nursery Tops Christchurch Nursery is a 77-place day nursery and preschool located in the beautifully renovated Priory Hall in the heart of Christchurch. We provide Early Education and Care for children aged 3 months to preschool, with a custom-designed garden and a rich programme including Forest School, cooking school, yoga, Boogie Mites, and more.

What does the role involve?
- Ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean, tidy, and well presented
- Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas, and staff areas regularly
- Managing laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
- Maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies
- Supporting staff in keeping rooms tidy and safe for children
- Adhering to health and safety and infection control standards at all times
What are we looking for?
- Takes pride in their work and has an eye for detail
- Is reliable, organised, and proactive
- Understands the importance of cleanliness in a childcare setting
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Has previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
