Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Honeybees Day Nurseries, Torrington – Opening in October
Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Honeybees Day Nurseries – Torrington.
This is a brand new nursery opening in October.
There are 4 rooms – Baby 0-2 years, Tiddler Suite – from 16 months, Toddlers – 2-3 years and Keepers cottage pre-school – 3-4 years. We have our own internal cook who provides a variety of nutritious meals and caters for dietary requirements. Honeybees Day Nurseries, Torrington have Fingerprint entry for security, Extensive mud kitchen, All staff are paediatric first Aid trained and all designated child rooms have CCTV.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child\’s development.
- Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
- Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.
- Use initiative and eagerness to learn
- Commitment to complete apprenticeship
Requirements;
- No Childcare qualification or GCSE are required
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
Hours;
- Honeybees is open from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday (51 weeks a year)
- The successful candidate will be required to work 30-35 hours per week
