Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Little Gems Day Nursery
Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Little Gems Day Nursery, Petersfield.
Little Gems Day Nursery has been specially designed to incorporate bright airy rooms with a beautiful enclosed garden at the back. The nursery is run by fully qualified and experienced staff dedicated entirely to the care and growth of your child. We specialise in children between 3 months to 5 years old offering a range of fun and educational experiences.
We provide a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment where individual attention exceeds each child\'s individual development and potential on their first journey through life.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Support children\'s learning and development through applying knowledge of pedagogy and the observation, assessment, and planning cycle.
- Develop secure and supportive relationships with children and families as the key person for children in their care, advocating for those children.
- Provide respectful and responsive physical and emotional care to children, promoting health and wellbeing.
- Work with key individuals in children’s lives (e.g., parents, families, and carers) to improve all children’s outcomes and wellbeing.
- Work in partnership with other organizations and agencies to support children’s learning, development, health and wellbeing.
- Support the implementation of change to improve practice.
- Initiate and engage in continuous professional development underpinned by reflective practice.
Requirements;
- A Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in English
Hours;
- Little Gems Day Nurseries is open from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate will be required to work 42.5 hours per week
