An established European Venture Capital firm is looking to appoint a Principal to join its investment team.

The firm backs ambitious technology founders from Seed through Series A, partnering closely with entrepreneurs to help build category-leading businesses across Europe.

The team invests with high conviction and takes an active role in supporting portfolio companies throughout their growth journey.

Responsibilities

  • Source and originate high-quality investment opportunities across the European startup ecosystem.
  • Build long-term relationships with founders, angels, accelerators and co-investors.
  • Lead commercial, strategic and financial due diligence.
  • Prepare investment recommendations and present opportunities to the Investment Committee.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies, supporting strategic initiatives, fundraising and business development.
  • Represent the fund across industry events and continue to strengthen its presence within the European venture ecosystem.
  • Ideal Background
  • 5 - 10 years' experience within Venture Capital or Growth Equity.
  • A strong track record investing in Seed to Series A technology companies.
  • Strong commercial judgement and investment instincts.
  • Experience working closely with founders and management teams beyond the initial investment.
  • An established network across the European venture ecosystem.
