Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will be a native or fluent German speaker with 2–3 years of experience in Investment Banking , preferably with exposure to M&A in the Technology or TMT sectors. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, working closely with senior team members across all aspects of the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market and company research to support deal sourcing and evaluation
• Build detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, etc.)
• Prepare investment memos and materials for internal and external stakeholders
• Support due diligence processes, working with advisors and portfolio companies
• Monitor and report on portfolio company performance
• Contribute to strategic value creation initiatives post-investment

Key Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A or relevant coverage groups preferred)
• Strong academic background from a top-tier university
• Native or fluent in German and fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Solid technical and analytical skill set with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
• Genuine interest in the technology sector and private equity investing
