Our client, a thematic impact private equity firm launching its €300m debut growth fund, seeks a fluent French-speaking Investment Associate for their buy-side team in London or Lisbon. With 3-6 years of experience, you will drive high-impact growth investments across Europe, backing mission-driven companies tackling social and environmental challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing: Identify growth-stage opportunities in impact sectors (e.g., cleantech, social enterprise), leveraging French-language networks in Francophone Europe.
  • Due Diligence: Lead financial, operational, and impact assessments, including market research and ESG analysis.
  • Financial Modeling: Build sophisticated DCF, LBO, and valuation models for growth equity deals.
  • Deal Execution: Support structuring, negotiations, and closing alongside senior team members.
  • Portfolio Management: Partner with founders to scale impact and returns in portfolio companies.
  • Market Research: Track European impact trends and thematic opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years in PE, growth equity, VC, investment banking, or impact investing.
  • Fluent French speaker (fluent English required); additional EU languages a plus.
  • Top-tier academic background (Bachelor's/MSc in Finance, Economics, Business).
  • Proven financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for impact investing and mission-driven enterprises.
