  • Conducting audits and inspections, using modern tools and methods to maintain high standards.
  • Managing personal injury claims in partnership with third-party providers, including insurers.
  • Keeping the business informed on legislative changes and industry best practice.
  • Facilitating H&S engagement through committees and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of systems and technology to enhance safety performance.
  • Acting as a key member of the wider H&S team, including providing cover for the Head of H&S when needed.

  • The ability to interpret and apply H&S legislation relevant to retail and distribution environments.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a positive and solutions-focused approach.

Additional requirements:

  • Willingness to travel (including occasional overnight stays) and flexibility to support operations outside normal hours.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • A recognised Health & Safety qualification, with at least Technical Membership of IOSH.
